EASY Deep-Pan MAGIC Dessert w/PEACHES, STRAWBERRIES, & BLUEBERRIES

Table of Content: DESSERTS

Such an easy dessert to make -  and, always so appreciated!

1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine

1-cup plain flour

1 cup granulated sugar, divided

½ tsp. salt

1 T. baking powder (yes, tablespoon!)

1-cup milk

3 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced

1 pint fresh strawberries; hulled, washed, drained, and sliced

1 pint fresh blueberries; washed and drained

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Melt the butter in a 9” X 13” baking dish, then coat the bottom and sides with the melted butter.

Place the sliced peaches in the bottom of the pan in the butter; then add the sliced strawberries, and the whole blueberries.

Using a large bowl, add the flour, ½ cup of the sugar, the salt, and the baking powder.  Mix to completely blend all ingredients; then stir in the milk until the mixture is smooth.

Evenly spread the mixture over the fruit.  Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup sugar on top.  Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the “magic” topping is firmly set and is lightly browned.  Allow the dessert to rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
