Super-Quick Stir-Fried CABBAGE w/ BACON & GINGER
Table of Contents: Vegetables
2 slices bacon (not Maple-flavored, etc.)
1 large onion, sliced in thin rings
½ medium-size fresh cabbage, cut in medium shreds (see photo)
Dash cayenne pepper
½ tsp. ground ginger
1 T. soy sauce

In a skillet or a wok, fry the bacon until crisp, and remove. To the bacon drippings, add onion and cabbage; then stir-fry until cabbage has slightly wilted.
Sprinkle cabbage with cayenne pepper, ginger, and soy sauce while continuing to stir-fry  about 2 minutes more. Crumble or cut the crisp bacon; then stir it into the mixture. Serve this dish very hot. Serves: 3 to 4.
