Market-Shred BROCCOLI SLAW w/ Cherry TOMATOES - Quick & Healthy

“Worry-Free Ranch Dressing”
(The recipe immediately following is from the book, Wheat Belly, by William Davis, M.D):
1 cup sour cream
½ cup mayonnaise
1 T. white vinegar
1 T. water
½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 ½ tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
Pinch of sea salt
Slaw:
1 (12-0z.) package shredded broccoli slaw (containing at least broccoli, carrots, & red cabbage)
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. Tony Chachere’s Original Creole Seasoning
½ cup halved cherry tomatoes, plus extra halves to use for garnish, if desired.
In a small-sized bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, vinegar, and water. Add the Parmesan cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, and sea salt; then stir to blend all of the salad dressing ingredients.
Empty the package of slaw into a medium-sized bowl and mix with 1/3 to ½ cup of the salad dressing. Add the salt and Tony Chachere’s Seasoning; then gently stir in the halved cherry tomatoes and mix ingredients. Garnish the salad with the extra cherry tomato halves.
Makes: 4 to 6 servings.
