TURKEY & BRIE Mediterranean Panini SANDWICH

Table of Contents: SANDWICHES & CHICKEN/POULTRY

The sandwiches can be cooked using a Panini grill, a George Forman grill, or a heavy skillet with a spatula.

1 large loaf Italian bread w/ bread topping of choice (I used “Everything” topping)

4 T. Mezzetta’s Mediterranean Olive w/ Sun-Ripened Tomatoes & Lemon

Sandwich Spread

8 oz. deli-sliced turkey breast (I used a spicy flavor)

8 oz. Brie cheese

Softened butter for spreading on bread to grill or extra virgin olive oil

Cut both ends from the loaf of bread and discard.  Diagonally slice the remaining loaf into 8 thick slices and place on a large cutting board.

Spread ½ tablespoon of the Mezzetta’s Sandwich Spread on one side of each slice of bread.  Place all of the turkey slices evenly on only 4 slices of the bread.

Place all of the Brie cheese slices evenly on top of the turkey slices.  Top the sandwiches with the 4 slices of bread that have only the Sandwich Spread on them.

Lightly spread or brush each side of the sandwiches with the butter or the olive oil.  Slowly grill the sandwiches until the outside bread is golden brown and the cheese inside is melted and hot.
