Drumsticks need to marinate for 4 to 8 hours.


8 large chicken drumsticks (legs)

½ cup teriyaki sauce

Ground ginger to sprinkle

Toasted sesame seeds to sprinkle

Paprika to sprinkle

Fresh flat-leaf or dried parsley, chopped




Place the drumsticks into a spray-oiled glass or ceramic baking dish and pour the teriyaki sauce on them.  Roll drumsticks several times to coat with the sauce.  Cover the dish and refrigerate.  Roll drumsticks once or twice during marinating time.


After marinating is finished, drain-off and discard the teriyaki sauce.  Then, sprinkle the drumsticks with a light sprinkling of ground ginger, a heavier sprinkling of sesame seeds, and a light sprinkling of paprika.  Add the chopped parsley on top.


Bake at 350 degrees, uncovered, for about 1 hour.  Check drumsticks with a meat thermometer for doneness.
